DIY SOS – Operation Laura

I sent an email to a few family and friends in September asking for help…

In the October half term (2011), Laura was going away for a week and Adam was off to Italy with the school. I didn’t have enough leave to take the whole week off, so I was staying at home…

That’s when I had this crazy idea…

Wouldn’t it be great if I could finish off some of the house by getting the plastering done in the landing (The walls were in a very bad state), maybe put up some architrave and skirting… while I’m at it, how about tiling the kitchen and painting the living room, oh and the stairs and hallway and why not put some new carpet down too….

It  was a load of work…
